I have a bunch of cooked bacon that's been in my fridge for a couple of weeks. Maybe even three weeks. Think it's OK to eat it?

Sure.

I'll be interested in your post in this space tomorrow, though.

Yeah, before I trust anyone named “iembalm” on this one, I’d ask him how his business is going.

if it looks and smells OK, it most likely is. You could always reheat it to 165.

We tossed it. Determined that it had been 3 full weeks since we cooked it.

Reminds me of that South Park episode where Cartman goes to Fat Camp, and Kenny gets famous for doing gross things for money.

"Hey kid! I'll pay you $20 to eat a really old piece of bacon!"

Not much time for Halloween OR baseball.

Trying to progress with a few different projects.

Among them, I'm doing an experimental documentary on my dog.

Today I finally hooked up a small external monitor situation that should make pulling focus easier with the DSLR.

It now seems odd that I've shot video before without one. Like, dafuq was going on there?

oof.. I packed the extra candy away in a sack and am holding on to it for next year. I'm already a bit sidelined by knee pain, not gonna put on extra lbs due to snacking on Kit Kats..

Speaking of: we had a pretty good stream of trick or treater traffic on our street this year but noticed a lot of them passing our well lit house and a couple other neighbors. My partner overheard some kid saying "too many stairs" or something. Another neighbor took her lawn chair to the edge of her stairs to meet kids half way. Well I guess this is me crossing over into Kids These Days territory but fuck that. It's like 5 stairs and maybe 10 yards, earn yr goddamn junk calories..
