Wow legit shocked that wasn’t a scam and just a genuine shipping/packing mistake!
Are you working with a lot of orchestra instruments?twelvepoint wrote: Sun Oct 15, 2023 8:14 am We run our own sound, often in really live rooms, with instruments miced with little omni lavs.
My group is in my sig, but essentially it’s 7-8 players at a table, each of whom has a standard 57/58 style vocal mic as well as a little lav style mic clipped on a typewriter. It’s a lot of open mics on some relatively quiet sources, so keeping control of feedback is important.losthighway wrote: Sun Oct 15, 2023 8:21 amAre you working with a lot of orchestra instruments?twelvepoint wrote: Sun Oct 15, 2023 8:14 am We run our own sound, often in really live rooms, with instruments miced with little omni lavs.
You might look into a used Dugan Auto Mixer. They are fantastic at keeping lots of open mics from freaking out. Couldn't do my job without them... well I could but it would suck.twelvepoint wrote: Sun Oct 15, 2023 8:14 am DBX Feedback robot

We run our own sound, often in really live rooms, with instruments miced with little omni lavs. My hope is this will be faster and more accurate than screwing around with an old 31 band EQ, and the real-time monitoring, if it works, would be great to have.
