I remember reading the review of this Snazzy FX Wow and Flutter delay in Tape Op when it came out over 10 years ago, and here I am, finally buying one on a lark. Why? Somebody posted a picture on Instagram with a purple pedal in the background. I was trying to figure out what it was - literally googling “purple” “guitar” “pedal” and somehow ended up at this demo vid? This pedal isn’t even purple, but its the one I just bought.
Not really ever into demos but even listening on my phone speaker I imagined using it for twangy Sergio Leone stuff melting into Twin Peaks neon and thought maybe I could do something with it.
I don’t know what happened but this thing was so noisy I applied for a return when I first plugged it in. Hopefully it’s a one off but I won’t be around to find out
FYI, this ^^^ checked out. Was good enough for tracking. Got that Marshall sound pretty well dialed in yesterday.

Just got another Schoeps CMT-56, this one's polar pattern switch actually works.
Orban 642B parametric eq on the way.

Altec 150/m11 aka Coke bottle.
$400 shipped. no capsule or psu but I've got 6 lipstick mics with 3 different variations of 21 series capsules, and just got some cables to connect Coke bottle to lipstick psu. Will confirm this is electronically sound before attempting.
Nice. I have a 670 kit from drip... Maybe one day I'll build it... Or sell it
Holy shit build it for sure. My soldering looks like a nerd version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so I must avoid these things....

The Squier is a hardtail string-through I am going to adapt into a Telemaster Custom.
The Strat is a Yamaha SuperRnRoller 500 which was so cheap I could not resist it.
