they were due to play Audioscope 2005 at the zodiac, oxford at the end of october, the promoter then said that they had pulled out cause they split up, and this band called Ivory Springer played instead (they're kinda Fugazi / Shellac esque but all the songs are about being a sailor).
also my job is being jerry seinfeld's butler in the short lived sitcom jerry (read:doing gig listings) so I found out that way.
It was a surprise cause I played a show with them in Bristol on the 16th of september and they were awesome.

SUCKY! They deserved more success I think. They were better than McClusky.
Your description of this Ivory Springer band has piqued my interest! Not enough bands write songs about semen.
