The Canadian "Fury" company makes some amazing guitars, but I've got a bit of a disliking towards the headstocks. The lefty Baritone was a treat to play.

Surprisingly, the 'Godin' company don't sell very well in Canada. The build quality is insane for the price.

Huh.

My main guitar is a 1965 Gretsch Corvette. We've been through a lot together. I even busted the headstock once in a fit of rage, but it got put back together courtesy of Rockhaus in Milwaukee (thanks Rusty). I feel so comfortable with this guitar. I love the fucking thing.

I saw mention on here about Electra guitars. I own an Electra Outlaw, but it currently needs repairs after repeated abuse on my part. An interesting guitar for sure... It was my weapon until I got the Gretsch.

Before that and for a longtime, it was my trusty black Hagstrom III. What a beast she was! I tell ya, that black bitch got thrown against some walls and such, but kept ticking for many years. But, then a crack ran the length of her neck, and I was forced to move on. Anybody got a Hagstrom III neck they ain't usin?

I never had a posh super-expensive guitar. My guitars have character. And I like that...

The Baldwin "Jazz" guitar (mine was Baldwin - it was made by Burns and mostly marketed in the US by Ampeg).

It had stereo pickups - by that I mean that the pole pieces for the top 3 strings were wired separately from the bottom 3. It also had this pickup setting called "Wild Dog", in which the top three strings of the bridge pickup were combined with the bottom 3 of the neck pickup. Fortunately, there were 3 other settings on the switch.

I'm not so in love with this guitar's sound, and probably won't be until I find an amp situation that suits it. It's nice enough to play, but sounds like shit through my usual rig.

whoah. neat. No, mine's not the Don Henley model (shudders). It's the same body shape, it seems. Mine sounds awesome through a twin reverb, for what it's worth.

I wonder how different the all maple (mine) sounds versus the lacquer (yrs.). Mine's also single coil and those look like humbuckers, if I'm not mistaken.

very cool.
kerble is right.
