the same ex mentioned above used to get mad at me for being sick. no joke, she took it personally that i was sick fairly often, even though i didn't have the money to live right at the time.

i only mention this because i'm sick as hell right now, and feeling liek this tends to bring me down big time. reminds me how fucking powerless i am (one is, we are).

so it baffles me that anyone, especially someone close to me, would think i'd do this on purpose.

every ex (and my current boyfriend) has hated my love of grindcore, as well as the occasional intense need to blast nothing but grindcore for weeks at a time.

also my ex was annoyed at my frequent refusal to wear clothes around the house (i mean, why should i? i'll put them on when i have to go outside.)

also my ex was very much annoyed by my lackluster mathematical abilities.

this is helpful.

I do very little housework. Some of my exes were more peeved by my moderate slovenliness than others.

I'm horribly disorganized and refuse to do things like file important paperwork or actually keep track of my money.

She didn't like that I smoked so much pot, until she smoked pot and realized how fun it was.

My last two exes found it annoying that I wanted sex on a regular and frequent basis. This, more than anything else, is probably why they are exes.

Huh? These things ANNOYED men?! You're like my fucking dream girl! I'd marry a girl who listened to grindcore! Better than listening to Randy Newman, Aimee Mann and Jon Brion, which was what my ex was into.

After we broke up, my ex unloaded on me and I learned about all kinds of faults I didn't realize I had, including my tendency to be rude "ALL THE TIME," my habit of talking AT people (as opposed to talking TO them or even WITH them), my lack of tact, my intense negativity and the fact that my dick was WAY too big. (I made that last one up, obviously.) I dunno, I think she made some pretty valid points, as much as it pains me to admit that.

i could've been testing her as well, to see how she might respond in such a situation. (for the record, at first she responded very poorly, untili i told her, "look, if my own fucking s.o. can't empathize right now, then what's the fucking point of being in a relationship?" she was an only child though, and very miserly, not just with pocket change and food either. now she's doing art restoration, a field in which her neurotic attention to detail will have some use.
