Yes, but that's in a personal relationship. (My only problem with this in my personal life is when it doesn't happen.) Whether spoken or not, it's mutually agreed upon and consented to (um, hopefully).

Objectification on an impersonal level is different. There is no implied or explicit consent and, in that sense, no possibility for respect.

If anyone on this thread has ever looked at another person and thought, "Damn, they're hot. I'd love to fuck them" and I mean EVER, then shut the fuck up. Do not complain about this kind of "impersonal objectification" because we all do it, every day. It does not necessarily preclude respect nor does it necessarily reflect our best traits, but it's hardly a monumental crime. Merely human nature.
