Noted on that Old Forester. Gonna keep my eye out. This might be another one that goes up in price soonColonel E.H. Taylor - Small batch.40-45 bucks. I'm terrible at the details but it was distinct enough from the other bourbons I put at the top of the list that I'll keep it in rotation. This isn't bourbon but some people may be interested (i like it all). Not sure if there is a Scotch thread but the EA board isn't as active as it used to be so maybe they can all be discussed here.ABERFELDY 12 YEAR OLD - Single MaltHow was this 35 dollars? This might be like...top 10 for me.I do enjoy the super smokey scotch that is available but I can only have one or two in a sitting. This has a little smoke, a little bite. The taste has so much going on I would have thought it was a blend.Also. Mandy and I are going to Scotland in May for a week. We may never return.

I did end up grabbing an LL/G bottle of the Rare Breed. Was like five bux over state minimum, no big deal, considering. When I first opened it, I got peanuts like Beam distillate which was off-putting for sure. Gave it a couple days, and man, this stuff is RUDE. Drinks below proof but is rich beyond description. Compared to the OF 1920: less heat, more oak (12-15 year juice in this bottle as previously mentioned) and just generally more intense flavors.Wish I still had some Elijah Craig Barrel Proof left to do a little blind tasting with.Anyway, super highly recommend picking up an LL/G date-code bottle of Rare Breed if you find one.
