I used to hate this song, but nowadays it cracks me up. There's something about Minnesota and slide whistles -- Al Franken is a wicked-bad slide whistle player...

"Peacemaker" from All Rise: Sure, a live crowd favorite, but it's still a lame song in the middle of a stellar album.
"Moving In Stereo", from The Cars: It's necessary because it's a build-up into "All Mixed Up," but I sure wish they coulda done it in less time.
"Thank You Boys" on Nothing's Shocking

i disagree with this statement. not as good as the original, surely, but not terrible.

If they did it in less time, then Phoebe Cates' striptease wouldn't have been so agonizing for poor Brad!

"Revelation" on Da Capo.
"Good Lovin' Man" on Born to Be with You, an otherwise perfect record.
"Southern Man" on After the Goldrush, as stated elsewhere.
"We're a Happy Family" on Rocket to Russia. The verses are fine, but I really hate the chorus. And the verses really aren't that good.
"Triumph of the Will" on Duty Now for the Future. It's not shitty, but it's definitely subpar compared to the rest of the record.

Ok, yes, I've seen the post where you take issue with Neil's lyrics and the "message" of this song but OH FUCK this song rocks hard in a very sinister way. The scrambly guitar solo around 2:30 is fucking brilliant and the piano sounds great throughout.
Neil's singing during "I heard screaming..." is fucking terrifying.

I´m not going to argue every other post in here, but these are my favourite songs by the respective bands, so, no fucking way.

I have no idea why these are the first two that came to my mind:
"Invaders" and "Gangland" from Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast Album. They always seemed goofier, among the already goofy.
