well, are we to assume hiro stabbed sylar the day the explosion went down? i sort of think that a confrontation between sylar and peter prompted peter to go all berzerker and explode. my question is, how does sylar survive being stabbed by frickin' hiro even after the changed timeline when claire is still alive.

It could be that the explosion itself operates under the Novikov Self-Consistency Principle and will happen no matter who you save or how you attempt to alter the outcome, although I doubt this.

I am somewhat ambivalent about the end of the season. Sylar isn't going to be killed and the bomb is going go off, they must have something up their sleeve because they haven't been very tight-lipped about that.

so what the fuck is up with mama petrelli? what is so important about this man-bomb going off? is she slightly evil? is she sending away claire to prevent her stopping the man-bomb rather than to protect her?

maybe ando will die at the end of this season (i hope not, that would really make me feel weird about next season). we can assume ted will too. there's also the potential for DL and maika, which i'm actually not too concerned with. so, i guess what we're waiting for is to maybe watch a bunch of people die other than sylar--or to full on flip the script. also, sylar is a douche.

Also I would like to add that they finally made the Niki/Jessica & D.L. story relevant. Jeez it took them long enough, but finally I don't hate that storyline. I'm curious if/how they'll follow it into season 2. Also, I'm curious as to what Niki/Jessica's power really is. Is it just super strength? Why does she split her personality then? I've wondered if it's something more.

(and ted)... and then i read a spoiler which mentioned someone will die in the finale, which lead me to believe it's either d.l. as a continuation of this week or ando, assuming it is a "good guy." it could also be candice (linked to another spoiler regarding the finale - something about sylar furthering down the path to presidency) or sylar himself.

also, if they really killed off DL just when we were getting invested and are left with jessica/nikki... well i just don't know. although tim kring says that in the finale we will see how and why she is so crucial to the entire timeline, admitting that so far her storyline has been difficult to sell.

also, simone and her dad are coming back. in another spoiler it says "There are people on the positive and negative side. And Simone is on the negative side... [They] may have some ties to some other characters that we had no idea about before."

whatever that means!!!?? although, i would like to raise attention to the fact that i predicted simone's powers/comeback earlier in this thread.

and finally... and in more depressing news... there's going to be an american idol style 6-episode show where america gets to vote for the next new character to be on heroes.

Huh...interesting. I've noticed that the writers are finally tying her into the story. At least for now, her character seems like the last piece of the puzzle, which is interesting since her story has generated such small fan interest. If you read the comics, they were following her future storyline a bit right now. Now their back to "The Death of Hana Gitleman"

I've been thinking during the entire second half of the season that they have to kill off Peter, or at least severely depower him. I really hope they don't kill him, but in all seriousness, how interesting can it be for the long term to have a character who basically stands near any other major character and suddenly has their powers?
