Oh, yeah, well maybe so, but Einstein fucked way more hippie chicks. But I think my friends fucked even more.

Both artists are not good. Dylan Young is the better one.

Steve was either drunk or joking.

Looking at the situation objectively, Dylan is obviously the more influential artist which cannot be over stated.

Bob Dylan
The Free Wheelin' Bob Dylan
The Times They Are a Changing
Another Side of Bob Dylan
Bringing it All Back Home
Highway 61 Revisted
Blonde on Blonde
The Basement Tapes
John Wesley Harding
Nashville Skyline
New Morning
Planet Waves
Blood on the Tracks
Desire

Flawless or near flaw less works

He changed the mould for singer/songwriter in the sixties in a very profound way during the period. He introduced The Band. Unlike many of his contemporaries, he remains relevant. He distilled the best of musical influences. He revitalized and destroy the folk genre by going electric, unprecedented.

Neil Young on the other hand might be more accessible and straightforward rock, but isn't as important. Still one of my favorites, Crazy Horse has made some of the best rock in the last thirty years.

Dylan wins by default.

As for Dylan's voice, the same could apply to Young. Neither can really "sing".

The Crazy Horse solo is terrific. Witten's swan song.

I think Neil Young is a bit more accessible than Dylan. Not that it really matters I suppose.

I can relate to Neil Young's songs so well though which is something I don't really get with Bob Dylan sometimes.
