One of the few times I've left a theater at a loss for words. My brother and I barely spoke on the way home from the midnight screening.

I came out of Wall-E and Hellboy 2 back-to-back at 11:15 last night to find a line for a Batman midnight show I hadn't known about. I had to be up at 7 AM in a town an hour away from the theater, or I woulda.

I did this exact thing yesterday, in the afternoon.

I only paid for one movie though.

I saw Hellboy first.

Batman: Bruce Wayne, 55 years old at the time of his "death". He gave up the Batman identity ten years prior to the beginning of the story

At no point has Christopher Nolan ever said he was taking any story elements from Frank Miller, though. He's been using the Jeph Loeb/Tim Sale Long Halloween series as a reference (granted, they got most of their mobsters from characters used in Year One, but still).

Everyone on my dorky Orioles' forum has said it's fantastic and that's it's the best Batman movie yet.
