One of the few times I've left a theater at a loss for words. My brother and I barely spoke on the way home from the midnight screening.

I came out of Wall-E and Hellboy 2 back-to-back at 11:15 last night to find a line for a Batman midnight show I hadn't known about. I had to be up at 7 AM in a town an hour away from the theater, or I woulda.

At no point has Christopher Nolan ever said he was taking any story elements from Frank Miller, though. He's been using the Jeph Loeb/Tim Sale
Long Halloween series as a reference (granted, they got most of their mobsters from characters used in
Year One, but still).
