I thought you were opposed to the legal system getting involved. If they face charges, then aren't they learning the consequences of their wrong decisions? If you let them get off scot-free for their wrong decision to beat that girl up, then aren't you coddling them?

I never said they should get off free, they should be arrested and tried as minors. They did commit a crime and there is a victim pressing the issue.

I don't think he does. He called the cops and prosecutors 'lunatics' for pressing charges.

Okay. I just scanned the thread real quickly. I thought you were opposed to the criminal justice system getting involved at all. You did say this earlier:

I was speaking of trouble, fights between people in general with that comment about getting the cops involved. I personally think it's a terrible move to ever get the police involved in any situation. It takes all your options away, for one and you have to just go along with being swept up in the legal system. Plus cops and judges and lawyers are disgusting fucking scum.

I do not see this whole thing as that big of a deal, it's basic high school shit. But they did commit a crime and there is a victim pressing the issue. The fact they videotaped it was enormously stupid as well.

They are lunatics for trying them as adults and going into overdrive working their flaccid little Christian puds up into a stiffy over the thought of destroying their lives.

Basic high school doesn't involve keeping the girl in the house against her will, and giving her a concussion. The fact that she didn't even defend herself makes the case against them more substantial.

Thank you. This really summarizes my thoughts better than that earlier bullshit I posted.

I don;t know about everyone else but the whole thing, I saw that a bunch of times in my high school. They invited her over and jumped her. It happens if you aren't careful.

What the hell have they been dunking their heads in? Cooking oil?

My guess is, they were hosed down prior to delousing.

Even when I've seen one of those go down, usually after a few licks if the victim can manage to haul ass, they're usually allowed to go with shouts of "Yeah, go ahead and run you fuckin' pussy!" (etc.) following after.

I don't recall these things turning into fucking "cage matches" - being locked in and having to take more than your realistic limit.

I'm with Skronk - this is beyond "basic high school shit" that I ever knew of.

Yes it's so brave to run and tell on someone when they are fucking with you. That's what we need to teach people, to be more of a crybaby pussy unable to stand up for yourself and fix your own problems. Run to the police. Yes they usually fix things.

She's a teenage girl, you really expect her to go ninja and exact revenge all tough like? She did the right thing going to the cops in this instance. This ain't the wild wild west, showdowns are unnecessary and unrealistic. Your tough guy code of honor does not apply in this case.
