Did you know that some furniture manufacturers are now producing motorized recliner chairs? Think about that for a minute. How lazy do you have to be to require a chair to actually recline your body for you?

Did you see WALL-E? There's a part where the Captain can't reach his drink which is sitting on the instrument panel, and instead of sitting up to reach it, he raises the back of his power chair to move him within reach.

I had a friend who always marveled at the Emperor's power swivel chair in Star Wars. Like the Emperor couldn't turn his chair around with his foot, or the Force.
