I'm more concerned with good quality brands, I'll probably buy online.I really appreciate the help but I have a great many other things to get before I focus on guitar stuff. Thanks anyway, my friend.

They electricity in my new house is terrible. Flickering lights, buzz in every amp. The guy that owned it before me did a lot of DIY wiring. What are some things I should make sure I address with the electrician before he gets here. I know I want good ground throughout the house, and at least a dedicated 20 amp, if not 2 in the basement where I intend to do my rocking. What should I not forget?

I have used many different solutions and have never been fully satisfied with them, so I'll hang up and wait for the answer.

So I don t recommend that!

Setting aside the "Pros"/"Cons" of buying Behringer gear, I have actually picked that unit up in the meat world. It does feel like it could take a modest hit. Also gives you four mic/line inputs - inserts on those inputs - decent stereo output options.I do know a couple of folks who use the UMC404 for their "Beater" interface. The one real "Con" that I have heard come up a couple of times is that the headphone jack could stand to have a little more output.
