so you all like ac/dc so much, you get offended that people think they're crap.

so let me ask you this:

do you feel the same way about
motley crue?
def leppard?
guns 'n' roses?
any number of asinine cock rock bands with a singer that sounds like a squawking fowl?
is ac/dc more "real" because they wore some stupid schoolboy outfit instead of teasing their hair out?
do you like kiss?
how many songs about dude's balls can you take?

yes, as long as they've heard Appetite for Destruction.

any number of asinine cock rock bands with a singer that sounds like a squawking fowl?

be more specific or I can't answer.

is ac/dc more "real" because they wore some stupid schoolboy outfit instead of teasing their hair out?

If you said to the AC/DC boys "minimalist" they might chunder in confusion. I wonder if they ever thought there'd be such cerebral discussion of their music.

Definitely not crap, despite their lacking in the punk rock / intellectual millieu that many of my favorite artists embody. I'm sure we wouldn't quite get along if we were to hang out, but the music (at least the older stuff) is indisputibly HARD ROCK. Rocks are supposed to be hard, I don't trust soft ones.

"Waffles"(?) for "TNT" (dino-Shite) and especially the execrable "Big Gun." Sucks LaBrea tar off Arnold's juicepump, that song does.

Oh, and who has a problem with "Big Balls?" You fucking stiff!

Sorry, fans of AC/DC, but I can't get past the vocals.

This band's singers all sound unflatteringly ham-fisted to me.

I remember hearing "Thunderstruck" recently, for the first time in quite a while, and thinking it was really awesome. Then that guy started signing and instantly I was like, "God, this dreck blows."

FUCK AC/DC.

Crap.

I've heard that the 3rd, older brother wrote most of their stuff.
On a piano nonetheless.
NOT CRAP whether this is true or not.

Out of interest, are there any AC/DC songs that aren't in 4/4?

Dave Brubeck recorded a jazz interpretation of Back in Black in 11/8.
