Mostly it serves as a valuable reminder that Taylor Hawkins and Chad Smith are absolute imbeciles, and Stephen Perkins isn't too far behind.
Anymore fuel for fm four'o'clocker's theory that Taylor Hawkins can't read?

I've been watching it. Pretty good. It's a typical Duplass style deal with likeable flawed characters trying to sort their shit out in a dramedy way.

As an English major I appreciated some of the cultural humor, but I wonder if a small town, east coast, liberal arts school person would connect even more. Or if faculty of a school like that would find it semi realistic. I went to a lowly state college.

Fiancee and I watched The Chair as well, it was pretty good. Played like one long episode of a dramedy.

Check out "Clickbait" if you're into crime investigation stuff. Lot's of cool twists.

Hulu

Y: The Last Man. Based on the comic series, and three episodes in, it's better. Grittier and darker.

Thanks from faraway Italy: read your post, checked the info on WIkipedia, saw that Danny McBride was in it, downloaded without hesitation, laughed for hours.

I LOVE Slither. One of the best horror movie watching experiences I've had. Watched it with a friend a couple of years ago randomly knowing nothing about it. We also really loved Dead Snow 2 when we weren't expecting much.

I'm hesitant to mention this one, but the first 2/3 of Killer Sofa were fantastic. Then it shit the bed the last 3rd. Still worth the watch in my opinion, especially if you're feeling a little goofy.

I recommend NOT watching a trailer for any of these first.

My most recent recommendations:

The Game (1997) on Netflix
Not Quite Hollywood (2008) on Amazon Prime
Last Days Here (2011) on Hulu
Chappie (2015) on Netflix
High Life (2018) on Amazon Prime

Oh and the original Jacob's Ladder (1990), The Tenant (1976), and Phase IV (1974) are back on Hulu.

I also really enjoyed Beasts Clawing at Straws (2020) on Hulu, and The Bridge (1959) on Criterion Channel. District B13 on Amazon Prime is dumb action fun too.
