No, it isn't, and it doesn't.hbiden@onlyfans.com wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 2:22 pmno no no it's common lexicon now. it just means you attached to ONE THING i wrote, and ignored the rest of it (kind of like chad just did). no offense dude. certain things can trigger me too.Curry Pervert wrote: Tue Oct 08, 2024 11:38 amTriggered? Really? Are you playing fox news bingo or something? C'mon dude, you're not fucking 12 years old - act like it. That kind of BS only reflects badly on you.
'Triggered' is a term used in psychology and trauma healing, referring to a person having their trauma (or elements of it) activated by something. Could be a sound, a smell, a fresh memory, something visual....there are many things that can 'trigger' a trauma reactivation.
The fact that a bunch of right wing shitheads decided to co-opt the word to use as an insult towards 'lefty' 'liberal' 'snowflakes' (sic) is quite disgusting. It has however become common lexicon, but you seem to have inferred your own meaning onto it. Again, you're sounding like you spend too much time being exposed to fox, newsmax, turning point etc. and it only reflects badly on you.
Last thing: I'm not offended, but I appreciate the sentiment. I'm also not 'triggered' lol.
