Really my only complaint is I wanted headlines about Green Day and BB shouting "Fuck Ice" but I guess that's too much to ask.
Why is that too much to ask? People are acting like this is the end the American empire and a “punk” band and a rags-to-riches rapper can’t say the most obvious shit, but instead stay focused on making cheese, and recreating the opening number from Encanto? Fuck these sellouts forever and ever. Soybomb was less dickless.
OK, presumably fellow white man of mucho dick and nut.
Nice. The terrorists have won if we can't shit on Top 40 pablum on the Premiere ROCK forum without being called a racist. Mr. Bunny is interested in his bottom line, and that's his choice, but I will not lavish praise on him for it. To me its more telling that the American Dream is still about lining your pockets.

Didn't GD sing American Idiot? A song about this exact moment? Seems deliberate, that they picked that song to play for a short set. It seemed like they met the moment, in that respect. Did you expect them to say "FUCK ICE?" I think not saying that, but stating that this is wrong is a good place to be. WE want to see FUCK ICE, because we're cold hearted studs, but I'm thinking about my extended family that doesn't pay attention to politics enough to know what the fuck is going on. I'm not sure that a message like that will win them over.
Per several sources they willingly removed the entire offending verse of said song when performing at the Superbowl. This being the only lyrics I actually recollect from this song. It even made the news when they updated it with "MAGA agenda" more recently. I am upset I know this much about Green Day.
Even during their 2004 political hit song, “American Idiot,” the band avoided the second verse entirely, which consisted of: “Well, maybe I’m the f**k it America / I’m not a part of a redneck (MAGA) agenda / Now everybody do the propaganda / And sing along to the age of paranoia.”

He lip-synced it. That's not the proper Nazi way!

I'm not saying you're racist, I'm saying you lack perspective and maybe you're not the last word on how this might affect different people in a positive way in a dark, dark time.

Well… I think it’s reasonable to say Reggaeton is a musical travesty and say “nice show”.
I hate reggaeton but managed to enjoy that show. It was fun. It said nice words at the end, people had a good time.
I’m too old to yuck someone else’s yum.
Did I say how much I fucking hate reggaeton?

I've seen so many people shit on reggaetron in the last couple of days I almost reflexively want to like and defend it, but I have no idea how I really feel about it. It seems so inoffensive.

all those songs have the same droning beat, it overpowers the melody. they really do sound the same! it's not my ears.

Reggaeton is such a nice switch-up for a club night, but only when it's like dropped in as a surprise. After like three songs, you're good. I never want to go to another club that only plays reggaeton ever again. Just on and on with the same beat, same sound.
I liked Daddy Yankee a lot more than Bad Bunny, but Señor Bunny is handling international fame wildly well. That his last album was stylized DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and featured a politically savvy song like "Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii" - he's not just phoning it in like a Pitbull or whatever.
