Drifter's Sympathy (Emil Amos podcast): http://www.feralaudio.com/show/emil-amo ... -sympathy/Chapo Trap House: https://soundcloud.com/chapo-trap-houseBehind the News with Doug Henwood (been listening for many years): https://kpfa.org/program/behind-the-news/Against the Grain: https://kpfa.org/program/against-the-grain/(for left-wing politics and theory nerds) Writers and Company (CBC): http://www.cbc.ca/radio/writersandcompanyDepends on the author, but generally great conversations with writers. Been checking out select episodes of the Guardian Books podcast too. The Imposter: http://www.canadalandshow.com/shows/the-imposter/Canuck arts and culture show. Great interview with Owen Pallet in the last episode. Never cared for his music much but he's a great no-bullshit interviewee.Pallet: "Broken Social Scene and the Hidden Cameras were a commercialization of the concept of community."

It's been mentioned here before, but I'm about 100 episodes in to the History of Rome. Great, entertaining, and informative podcast if you're even slightly interested in history. Looking forward to his Revolutions series next.

My Brother, My Brother and Me is a podcast by three brothers, in which they answer listener's questions. The three McElroy brothers are deeply funny human beings, and very skilled at improvising comedy.http://www.maximumfun.org/shows/my-brother-my-brother-and-me

Also, somewhere is a podcast called Satellite Dish where one of the guys and his wife give a multi-episode book report of Tyra Banks's adult fiction novel about battle modeling called Modelland. It's pretty funny.Dude, April fool's was yesterday. There also HAS to be band called Battle Model right? Has to be.

Political podcasts are generally as bad as music podcasts, but maybe because it started as an actual radio show first, Majority Report is head and shoulders above the rest. Now! If every music podcast would stop trying to be the music version of WTF maybe we could get somewhere. (And yes, I am referring to at least a few titles mentioned time and again in this thread)Also, to add something positive to the conversation.has a podcast going. Only three episodes so far, but the third is with FM member Steve and i'm into it so far. Looks like it's Soundcloud only, which is a baffler of a choice. Yet, here we are!
