I'm nursing a sore throat as well, burun. Woke up early in the morning with that unmistakable tickle in the back of my throat. So far today I've had about ten cups of tea and a few glasses of orange joose. Lots of liquids. I'm coughy and sneezy too.

Let's heal together.

I still live to fight another day, but damn shit morale gets even lower and shit is going to be even more hectic now as we scramble to cover the bases from some of the specific knowledge that just left out the door. Like old shit that I don't want to have to learn, honestly.

I would start up a "Drinkin a berrs in Saint Louis tonight" thread... but I'm pretty sure it would go down like a sack of wet cats. (that doesn't even make sense, but fuck it)

Mr. Smith,

I suggest you read Resume with Monsters all the way through. Think Slacker --the movie and Chthulu Mythos. Helped me with the closing of a restaurant. Author is William B. Spencer.

They are shooting a movie in downtown WxCx. J. Anniston and Owen Wilson plus a crew of many will be closing down the streets. This town is so small that the same faces will be cockblocking and mugging for the camera. I blame the BAM.

When will the underground music community shoulder some of the responsibility of feeding starving children? I sense an Electrical-Aid looming on the horizon.

I just moved 30 miles south to an even smaller mountain community, but now I have to commute that distance for work and school (for the kids). Anyway, I absolutely love the drive (except for the rapidly increasing expense). We start out at an elevation around 8800 feet and travel over a pass that goes above 10,000 feet. It is the most beautiful place on planet earth. We pass the most spectacular high alpine lake surrounded by 14,000 foot tall peaks. We regularly see coyotes, elk, deer, eagles, and all sorts of other small wildlife on the way. We also pass the headwaters of the Dolores and San Miguel Rivers which both join back together several miles down the way and eventually go all the way to California. How cool!!! Right now, I am at the radio station doing my show that I have been doing for over 15 years now. When I return home, after the 40 minute drive over the mountains, my kids and I will build a fire in the woodburning stove as our main form of heat for the house. We have made it a habit to roast marshmallows and make s'mores after dinner. I feel so blessed and just needed to express it. Just a little detail from my day (recurring, no less).
