radio addiction wrote:I just moved 30 miles south to an even smaller mountain community, but now I have to commute that distance for work and school (for the kids). Anyway, I absolutely love the drive (except for the rapidly increasing expense). We start out at an elevation around 8800 feet and travel over a pass that goes above 10,000 feet. It is the most beautiful place on planet earth. We pass the most spectacular high alpine lake surrounded by 14,000 foot tall peaks. We regularly see coyotes, elk, deer, eagles, and all sorts of other small wildlife on the way. We also pass the headwaters of the Dolores and San Miguel Rivers which both join back together several miles down the way and eventually go all the way to California. How cool!!! Right now, I am at the radio station doing my show that I have been doing for over 15 years now. When I return home, after the 40 minute drive over the mountains, my kids and I will build a fire in the woodburning stove as our main form of heat for the house. We have made it a habit to roast marshmallows and make s'mores after dinner. I feel so blessed and just needed to express it. Just a little detail from my day (recurring, no less).
So btfl this detail! You are lucky indeed. What show do you do? Any way to listen online?

I just booked my time off in work for my holiday in august. Two weeks in southern Spain, driving up to Barcelona then three days in Paris. I'm counting the days already. Also, work is even more boring than usual, which is why i'm posting here instead of working.

I got in from work at about 8am, stinking of man-work-stink and while attempting to wash the man-work-stink from my post-work body I really wacked my right nipple with the shower-head.
Now it hurts. Stupid man-nipples.

How did you go to bed at 8, sleep an hour, and get up at 7:45? You have incredible powers of time manipulation.
Well, I just quit my sunday delivery job. I had to because of the whole can't drive an uninsured car thing. I'm driving it to michigan next weekend. I will soon be free...to ride my bike.

I slept for 12 hours and I still feel like shit.
Why do I always get sick when I have time off of work?
Trying not to look out the window and think of all the shooting I could be doing, insted of sitting in my chair like an old lady with a blanket on my lap.

Don't sweat it, it's good to rest.

No. Mind your own business.
