AUSTRALIANS:

You have Swords.

You have Blood Duster.

What more do you want?

My dollar twenty-nine?

Okay.

But only if I can have Jelly'gnite!

I have stuck a few of these gummi-wormesque candies on a safe and affixed a fuse.

I hate everyone I work with except the Italian girl. Just horrible people, every one of them. Scheming, miserable fucks.

At least I have one ally. It's the US and Italy against the world over here. We are surrounded on all sides, but we are strong.

She's cute, but I don't see what that has to do with anything

A few hours ago, I sent the following email to a friend:
Ever have one of those papers where you think you've got your shit all organized, then you get into the middle of the paper and realize that not only were you dead wrong; but that you're already too far into the paper to do anything about it, and all you can do is try and mitigate the damage from the approaching crash? I am *so* there right now. I feel like I am in the middle of one big out-of-body "oh shit" moment, watching in slow motion as I plow into the iceberg.

Just turned said paper in, and goddamn did it suck. I had originally been all amped up to see Pelican tonight, but now I just want to get stay home and get hammered.

Every time that's happened to me, it's never been as bad as I expected. Certainly far from great, but not as bad as I thought.

Chin up! Go see Pelican AND get hammered.

Woke up at 4:30, showered and put on Stars of the Lid and fell back to sleep until the alarm clock woke me up and scared the shit out of me.

Worked at a local deli til I had to go to a therapy session where I bitched about being on medication, complained about how little the people do who are supposed to help me ignore me and generally reported excitement about getting out of a mental health program.

Waited in the rain for a bus that was late. Looked and worried about a cat who has a 100 dollar reward--Guy lives in Maryland and if I caught the cat he would drive up for her. Dick. I'm not going out of my way for this douche.

Itching for Hell's Kitchen. Petrosa? for the win.

Good Night. Off to Jersy for the weekend.

Spent 3 hours on a mix this afternoon, said to myself, "that sounds pretty good", and sent it .... meanwhile, across the Atlantic, a certain guy who mixed Los Lobos and Sheryl Crow is mixing other tracks I recorded recently that I wish I could be mixing [though who can complain?!?!?!! Hating to actually say that I'm glad he's doing it, but I am!] What a juxtaposition.

P.S. Digidelivery is [nearly] real-time fun!
