I saw Harold Pinter in the lobby of the British Library this morning. I didn’t say anything. Hopefully he understood that I was directing an oppressive silence towards him as a form of tribute. If not, sod it - it’s the only language his sort understand.

I take your Harold Pinter and raise you a Stoppard, who I saw leaning over and staring intently at a public bin outside a theatre on Charing Cross Rd. I expressed my emotions through saying "ooh, that's Tom Stoppard!"

I stopped by Atomic on the way home from the grocery store and bought "Surrender to the Night" by Trans Am today.

"Rough Justice" ends in a lock groove. This pleases me.

I got a raise today. That was pretty cool. A buck-fifty an hour more? That's like, what? Sixty dollars a week? Maybe I can start keeping current on my bills now.

While getting a ride home from work, The Police's "Message In A Bottle" came on the radio. I caught myself singing along for about three seconds. I felt dirty. I fucking hate Sting.
