I fucking hope so. I wish I'd signed up to the company's private health care when it was first put my way.

I'm probably just being overly dramatic about this.

The phrase 'shitting myself' would be an understatement.

Holy crap! Good luck! Fingers crossed, burn some sage, make a pasta dish, and all that.

EML-101. Semi-modular. A friend of mine has one, actually (I did a repair on it for him).

wow you sir are a good person to know, I wish I would have known you about 3 years ago when I needed my Roland Prophet 6 repaired, I ended up selling it for parts...

Eh...don't kick yourself over it. I did the EML repair because it was fairly straightforward: it quite clearly had a broken rotary switch and some disconnected wires. Based on the schematic, I had to make a few educated guesses as to where they went, but the big thing with the EML is that everything's big enough to work on, and the point-to-point wiring helps.

Roland Jupiter 6, maybe? Or Juno 6? Never seen the inside of one, but given that it was at least a decade more modern than the EML, it's very possible that I wouldn't have been able to help--everything would have been much more densely packed, with a lot of things in ICs, and sometimes there's no telling where the fault is (at least for me; a real repair person probably could have figured it out).

I saw something on Wikipedia recently where a bassist's style of playing was described as "merkin-core."

it was astoundingly funny.

I pulled a hair out of my ear. The gauge of this hair was easily approaching a fat G string on a guitar. Several hundred yards of that, and I'd have line fit for deep sea fishing.

My Kennedy hair is ebbing; my ear hair is flourishing.

Just got back from Princeton with my foxy red-headed friend.

Bought a bunch of books, spent all day walking around and looking through the record bins at Princeton Record Exchange (thanks again for the suggestion, burun).

Coolest couple of days I've had in a very long time. Also very tiring. I'm almost delirious from exhaustion.

Really good couple of days. Really good.

This is shaping up to be the most gobsmackingly, subnormally boring summer ever, in the history of everything, despite my efforts to get some class of a job, or internship, or fucking something.

Fuck.
