Really just would like a simple analog line level hpf and lpf that can be used for tracking and mixing.
The closest thing I know of is a little API deal that’s still $500 a channel
I posted this in the clone/reissue thread and invented the
Drawmer Gate, which has now been in every studio for the past 30 years.
I just have to find a cheap working one that’s not in Europe or Japan.

IIRC there's a 1:1 behringer clone of that drawmer that might be even easier/cheaper to find. Those things are also perfect for compressor sidechains.

After kicking the idea around for ages, a generous gift card I received at work prompted me to pull the trigger on the Sequential Circuits Take 5. Everything written about it points to it being the only polyphonic synth I need. Can't wait to bleep bloop.

That's a different patch, I'll check the manual but I'm told it does.

If my spouse didn't need a full five octaves I would've bought one instead of the Prophet Rev2 we got (no regrets). I STILL want a Take 5 just for the immediacy of 'this all sounds good'

Ludwig Thermogloss kit from the fine folks at Wood & Weather drum shop. 12/13/26/20 (!!), 6-ply. Stoked. You don't see 20" kicks in 6-ply come up that often. Will be keeping my eyes open for a matching 24" though.
Also, Jury/Century Guitars "Dronemaster". Very excited to get my hands on this and do some R&D with it.

Rolling the dice on an "untested" Calrec Soundfield Mk. IV system. I think the seller got it from a storage unit liquidation or a church closing or something, because none of their other items are of this ilk. Hopefully it just needs a good cleaning and refoaming, based on the photos. Price was too good to pass up.
