the Classical wrote:I was just thinking "making an album in a month? making an album in a weekend? No way"

when it dawned on me I made an album earlier this yr in an evening, I had sort of forgotten about that, an improv thing, but still...I should really do something about putting that out. Its pretty decent.

it has long been my ambition to make a record in a day, well several in different styles. country, electronic, doom and so on and so forth. who's in?

I've just started a new job with a crazy firm.
Today I was invited to an induction day followed by a buffet lunch. They missed the part about how it would be with partners of the firm and that lunch is served by waiters pouring me a choice of wine and the buffet happened to be a specially made meal of pasta or beef served with a choice of veg all served by more waiting staff. How the fuck did I land a job like this???

madness! They over paid me already and was told not to worry about it. I may have to keep my mouth shut about my revolutionary tendencies, for a few monthes.

I'm well confused!

Glad to hear it's turning out okay, GF. Yeah, keep your Bakunin beard under a scarf for now - money is useful!

Little detail from my day: I broke my steak cherry. I've had approximations of steak but have never had a real one. Tonight I had a 10oz medium-rare sirloin in a sweet red wine sauce at a decent Italian place. There were some caramalised red onions sitting atop of it, fused with the surface of the meat. It was fucking fantastic.

Were you formerly a vegetarian?

Welcome to the Carnivores.

Yeah, for the obligatory and standard nine years. I learnt to cook as a vegetarian so I never cook meat at home, I'm nervous about killing myself. I've been wanting to try a good steak for a long time. Today the cows came home.

Home being your belly.

I've been veggie for almost 15 years... holy crap.

Well, I've been eating random fish in the past year.

It's down to guilt now. Maybe I should have a dare. You eat a dog-burger and I'll eat a cow. Nahh, someone would do it then I'd have to eat a cow.

I gotta go home,
Ben Adrian

Now I've gotten to where I sometimes eat meat on Sunday. That's only when theres a good reason to. I tend to eat out on Sundays.

It snowed here today. First time where its enough snow that it doesn't just melt off in one day. Stayed indoors, recorded some things, did some branding work, got really wound up and felt cornered towards evening. Went outside and threw some snowballs at the bus and various other cars driving by. People in bus thought it was funny too.

Bought one of my friends ('er birthday. See earlier...) David Byrne's new book Arboretum which is a really interesting collection of drawings/diagrams resembling trees pertaining to all sorts of life. Really great. Wrapped it up in the sunday comics. Cut Marmaduke out, that fucking shit-lick rass of a comic.

Listened to the Proclaimers' song Over And Done With about 100 times in a row. That acapella beginning is sooo good!

Looked at my roomate's Star Wars Complete Visual Dictionary.

Yes, no work or school today. Still, after all those great things, I don't feel so well. Sometimes nothing works. The nerve!
