Incoming Biamp MR140 reverb. I was looking for an inexpensive studio spring reverb and found this for 2 hundo. The parametric EQ for adding the wet signal seems pretty cool, and of course there's the whole "Unknown Pleasures" aspect. I'm mainly looking to add reverb to vocals during mixing, we'll see how this works.

I bought another set of dearmond goldfoils from Gemini. I think he's pretty backed up so it'll probably be 2-3mos before they show up, but I'm excited to switch over from the mismatched ric pickups in my 610.

I love his pickups, I have one of his GF's in the neck of my Univox LP and it is wonderful.

GEAR TALK ME OUT OF IT didn't work and now I have this on the way. Sequential did me a solid and I couldn't say no.
So pumped - I have a grip of amazingly figured red ironbark to make alternate wood cheeks as I know I'll muck up the factory walnut.

I think if it had slightly different knobs it would look as perfect as I want a synth to look (easy enough to change). I could likely do anything I 'need' with software synths, but like playing guitar direct into a mixer, it's totally uninspiring and I don't enjoy doing it. Anytime I sit down with a physical synth I'm elated, and the better looking, even more-so.
I love that there's visible uncharted future still with physical digital & analog synths because they're very much performing instruments unto themselves and the more they're designed as such, the better music will be (I hope).

My search for the cheapest possible DS-1 I could find is successful, getting one from a bid for $10 plus shipping since it’s missing a knob and the tone pot shaft is bent and it’s dirty as hell but a deal is a deal!
