While I like it so far, there’s certain things about the Toneprint system’s quirks that are, uh, bemusing I guess. Toneprint’s editing abilities are very, very extensive, intimidatingly so. The effects themselves seem to be frozen in amber, insofar as they don’t seem to have anything new past whenever their last update was. Oh cool, the Tap Tremolo has a weird kinda randomizy LFO feature! Oh, that can’t be applied to the Shaker vibrato for some reason. I don’t know if I’m explaining that the way I want to get across. In any case, so far it does what I want and I’ve already made several song-specific patches for it. I’m probably gonna have to put the Multistomp back on the board though, as it’s probably not a good idea to put a pedal that hasn’t been practice-tested on my board in time for my band’s next show, which is… uh… this Friday.

The Infinite Sustainer is really cool. Will need to practice on it though.

Firmware update was a bitch, though what digital product isn’t.
It's insane that the pedal has amazing effects on it and yet the worst software imaginable, in a time where there's so many effects pedals with outstanding software components. Its a total afterthought. The X3 and X5, you don't even need the software, but the X1 requires it.

Anyway, awesome pedal, totally worth the hassle.

Epiphone "Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop" Les Paul Special double cut with P90's. I rolled the dice on this one the day they were released after being really impressed with the other IbGCS models, and because I didn't currently have any P90 guitars. The specs are pretty great for the $999 price point: one piece mahogany neck, one piece mahogany body (pretty sure...I see no seam in the grain on the body), bound rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl dot inlays, Gibson open book shaped headstock, Gibson USA Custom P90's, full size CTS 500K pots, Bumblebee capacitors, Switchcraft toggle switch and output jack, plus a very nice hardshell case. It's one of the most acoustically resonant guitars I've ever played. The P90's sound excellent and clean up amazingly by rolling off the volume and tone controls, which are very usable throughout their entire sweep. The poly finish is perfectly somewhere between satin and gloss. It looks and feels great. I did change the strings from 9's to 10's (personal preference), but right out of the box it needed nothing. Setup was perfect, no sharp fret ends, fret buzz or dead spots, and it holds tune very well. It feels, looks and sounds every bit as good as its Gibson Custom Shop equivalent, for $3200 less. Highly recommend.

I played one the other day and was really impressed. That finish is awesome in person. The neck feels great and those P90s sound great.

Have been messing around with fake Yamaha electric piano direct and its got me thinking about stereo sounds with melodic instruments in a way I never have before. For what I’m doing on this track mono seemed like it would be a better fit initially, but I got something going wide and nice that seemed like it would fit on one of Jim O’Rourke’s song records and kept going with it. I kind of want to try to sum it once I’m done and see if I can get some kind of midside effect going, mostly because I only have one 1176 and I don’t like the effect my stereo compressors are having here.

This Stereo Fulltone Tremelo that I had for years but never found a use for with guitar is wonderful with keys. The tap tempo is kind of useless since it doesn’t subdivide, but the pedal is great for warm stereo movement and I think I like what the pedal does to the sound with the volume turned up. It also sounds real pretty gently moving a bunch of reverb, but a bunch of reverb sounds pretty hacky to me generally, so will have to keep that up my sleeve until I find a place that it will fit.

The Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe is even better but its mono and can go in a million directions where the Fulltone just basically does a couple things.

I used to have one of these and I miss it.

Both the Plethora X1 and THE TABLE had their trial by fire tonight live and they both passed with flying colors. I was having some issues with the harmonizer bugging out and having to factory reset it multiple times but I think I have it going good now. The sustainer in particular was neat as soon as I had it set to Momentary mode I was able to make it work the way I wanted.

TABLE did what I needed. Quick to set up and break down, enough room to let my Quilter tilt back and hit my ears, and no rattle. It succeeds incredibly at being an amp stand without looking like one of those extremely doofy Musicians’ Friend contraptions that look like the Maxell Man as a stick figure.

I think I actually got mine after seeing you mention it somewhere. The circle completes!

Love these. Been wanting a short scale bass for awhile, but don't play much bass these days. I wonder how the reissue sound. Did it cost a pretty penny?

My bassist has a Squier CV Mustang Bass that he plays with the band from time to time. I think he’s swapped the pickups and tuners out on ‘em and favors LaBella Low Tension Flats. The couple times I’ve played it it’s always played and sounded great.
