Sorry if this is repetitive, I looked and couldn't find a post. I'm wondering if I should shell out cash for a 16 channel 100'/150' snake, or if would be more economical to try to make one myself.

This is really a question of hassle vs. cash

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i'd buy personally. unless you have tons of time on your hands. that's at least 96 points to solder and to theoretically fuck up. it's not difficult work, but my time is better spent elsewhere.

I agree with Nick. If you look at the price of buying a good multi-pair cable, 32 good connectors, and heat shrink it isn't that much cheaper than a premade snake with a box end.
