I just moved to NY to go to grad school. I noticed that the Dirty Three is playing in the city in mid-October. I don't know anyone around here and just wanted to see if any electrical.com patrons want to meet up at the show and possibly (might not have to) give me a decent space to crash that night. I live over in the Bronxville/Yonkers area and I'm not sure if I could make the train back home that night.

that's Chicago's own Jim Becker. Great guy. Plays in Califone, and is on the new Freakwater record, among other things. He's an absolute joy to work with in the studio, and amazes me with something every time I record him...
