Pick the best DVDs for me to watch this week

1
Last movie thread today - I promise :-)

I'm trying to watch all the DVDs that I've bought but have stupidly left to the side because TiVo doesn't like it when I ignore it.

Anyway, I've distracted TiVo enough this week so I'm going to plough through my unwatched DVDs. But I don't want to have a repeat of last night's Ring Two mess, so please pick the best movies out of this list for me to watch:

Audition
Time Bandits
The Decalogue
Killer's Kiss
Startup Dot Com
The Killing
Dangerous Liasons
Lawrence of Arabia
Carry On Screaming
Nil By Mouth
Repo Man
Bubba Ho-Tep
Burn To Shine I (D.C.)
The Big Red One
Der Untergang

I think my first three (from impressions and reviews only) will be Audition, Bubba Ho-Tep and Der Untergang. Please recommend your favourites from the bunch.

Much appreciated...

I've only seen about 3/4 of these movies. But here's what I think your first 3 should be:

Lawrence of Arabia
This movie won't be as great on the small screen as it is in a theater. But it's the best movie on your list.

Repo Man
You might need to be over 30 to truly appreciate "Repo Man," but anyone who is interested enough in "punk" or "DIY" or "indie" to be on these message boards really has to watch it.

The Big Red One
Is this the "reconstructed" 2-DVD version? Either way, please introduce yourself to the worlds of Samuel Fuller and Lee Marvin ASAP.

THE DECALOGUE is brilliant, but it's a real emotional roller coaster and a major time commitment to boot. LAWRENCE OF ARABIA is one of the great films of the 1960's, but TV isn't the best place to see it. Me, I'd go with THE KILLING (Kubrick's first really worthwhile film), THE BIG RED ONE (gotta give it up for Sam Fuller) and either REPO MAN or BUBBA HO TEP for fun. Add STARTUP DOT COM if you're into ocumentaries, it's a good one.
