Hey there fellows. I am trying to find a simple solution for a mic pad, as the mixer i have does not include one. Anybody know of a simple (cheap) stand alone job (like an XLR type go between?)

Here are 2 that are available all over the place:

The Audio-technica AT8202 (10, 20, 30 db steps).

The Shure A15AS (15, 20, 25 db steps).

Both work great, are transparent, and are about $40.

I have a few that I use quite often with my Sytek. I got them at Sam Ash and they are made by Whirwind and were $15 each.
