noxagt without viola!

I just saw Noxagt. They were guitar, bass and drums. Apparantly the other dude left. Why wasn't I informed!
They kicked an awful lot of ass. I just felt sorry for the dude standing infront of me. In a room full of nerds (like us EAers) wearing spectacles and corduroys and stroking their beards whilst remarking on the interesting bass tones (probably) this one dude was wearing a leather trenchcoat and gloves and trying his hardest to headbang. Except everytime he started, the time signature changed. Then, when they went into a build-up, he'd hold his hands out like claws and start raising them up over his head, except the crescendos (or whatever) wouldnt come and he'd just be stood there with his arms in the air and after a while put them down again and put his hands in his pockets. Bless him.
It was only a short set but they're pretty brutal. Calvados Beam Trio were excellent. Some might accuse them of trying to be don cab/battles but those people can go and die in a fire because the world needs more bands like that.
And Knives were great too. One of their members posts here under the name Knives. If it's the young guy who ran upto me in the middle of a song and said "meep" I'd like to say salut! You made me uncomfortable yet happy!
