Lightning bolt

Saw them in Chicago in October. Totally rocked. NOT CRAP

you gotta respect the bolt.

Since I'm not sure, I'll ask: did they break up yet? If they did, crap. I hate bands that only last for about a year or so. They seem like projects more than actual groups. It's my pet peeve.

It must weird to be a two-piece band and break up.

I haven't heard that they broke up, but I don't hear much.

No lightning bolt didn' break up. The drummer is going deaf though. Because the guitar/bass palyer palys threw a bass amd a dna guitar amp and like 400 speakers all over the stage. The drummer said after hes goes deaftheyre stil going to make music.

He Needs those amps to achieve that huge unique bass sound he has. He has a great set up. Also, Lightning Bolt did not break up. But if they did, they still wouldn't be "one of those bands that lasts for a year and breaks up", especially since they've been together since 1995 and have three albums and a dvd.

There are a handfuls of bands that, when seen live, make you emit a growl of disbelief and spit out a series of crazed, semi-intelligible "jesus jesus jesus holy shit holy shits"



Lightning Bolt is one of these bands.
