hi-
long time browser, many cool people on this forum with great taste in music and wonderful minds. i can promise i'm not a cum or waltermalling or madchaosopher or any of those other bottom-dwelling dweebs.
I did have a question though (not directed at Steve necessarily but anyone with a bit of recording experience):
Listening to Surfer Rosa recently, I was struck by a few things:
-vocal track on 'something against you' constantly feedbacks, sounds like it was run through a guitar amp or the like. how was this effect achieved?
-'wooo....' STOP on 'where is my mind'- was this to loop the vocal or what? it sounds nerdy, but always though it was a nice touch to the song.
sorry, i'm a newbie and have to ask the stupid questions.
