Hello

I am doing a paper on a sociological analysis of poverty in Chicago. Because this is a Chicago-based message board I thought I might try to look for help here. What I have to do is use the functional and conflict theories to analyze the causes and results of poverty in a region according to residential segregation, criminal/police activity, employment, etc.

So far I have these websites:
http://thecha.org
http://chicagohousingauthority.net
and this: http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/17/1714000.html

If anyone here knows anything that you think would be helpful for my research or on this topic at all, I'd love suggestions.

Thank you very much!
Kevin

poverty everywhere in the universe is George Bush's fault.
