Ok, new WORST Survey. Worst city?

I guess the rules of the survey should be (to eliminate bias in either direction) that you can not have lived there...only visited.

Mine are:

Houston - for aesthetic reasons. Quite possibly the ugliest city ever. What is that shit-brown body of water you call a river?

San Francisco: Hey look, I'm a liberal Democrat. But San Francisco is largely communist-vegan-overly-PC-sensitive assholes. I went to the Holidays In The Sun festival there, and it was like a convention for green mohawked, Doc Martin wearing Hare Krishnas. That city lacks intensity and balls. And look, how many fucking left-wing/socialist bookstores that reek of incense whose sales consist mainly of The Anarchists Cook Book and greeting cards featuring artisticly taken black and white photos of naked men, can you cram into one town!

Are you planning on becoming a Nets fan?

No, considering that:

1. I live very near where they're planning to put the stadium, and I think the location of said stadium will very nearly wreck the living standards of most people who live near it - because of traffic, higher rents, etc. Although I suppose higher property values will be a boon to some people - making Brooklyn less affordable to the middle and working classes is not something I can reasonably support.

2. There's no doubt that Bruce Ratner will get some sort of tax break/deal (not to mention the state using eminent domain to seize property), and though I like sports in general, I really despise the way public funding is used to subsidize private sports enterprises these days (see also: Soldier Field).

3. Frank Gehry is a horrible architect and his design for the stadium looks like crap.

4. Although I do like basketball, being raised in Kentucky means I only like it played at the college level.

by the way, I don't think San Francisco's really that bad, even if some of the people that live there are major dorks.
