Obviously we all live in different cities/countries so we may disagree.

Stray dogs
People with a cigarette behind their ear
Sunburst coloured guitars
Minidisc albums for sale
Fingerless gloves
Whoopie Goldberg
Chalk markings on the floor from kids playing "Tracking"
TV shows with a huge gunfight every week but no casualties

And the ultimate:

White dogshit!

Much to the chagrin of most of my friends, yes. As of July, Edmonton banned smoking in all bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. It's the same in Vancouver and Toronto (I think).

I was against the bylaw on principle. But the truth is, it's great! So great!

Bangers (beat up old cars).

Every street used to have some.

Where have they gone?

Litre bottles of Coke made of glass.

CD longboxes.

Super 8.

Doo-wop battles under street lights.

Crowds of men wearing suits and hats at the ballgame.

The doffing of hats, for that matter.
