So the guitar thing was exciting. To follow up, what kind of amps are you guys using (live or recording)?

Live I play a 69 bassman thru a marshall jcm800 4x12. Pretty generic, but it sounds great, and is ungodly loud. If I need more loud I use a traynor YBA-1A. but good christ, that is a lot of sound.

i use a fulltone ocd overdrive with the '63 and a visual sound jekyll & hyde overdrive with the bassman 70

H/H Studio 100 Power Baby
H/H VS Musician 100W Head
Hiwatt Lead 100
H/H PA Head. Nasty.

H/H amps are my favourite amps.

Ampeg VT-22 -> Ampeg V-4 4x12 cabinet loaded w/ Weber Michigan 12's.

Loud as the F-word.

Also, with my new project I've been playing thru this:

Thats a '61 Bassman thru a Marshall 4x12 w/ 2 vintage 30's and 2 of...something else, a V-4b thru a V-4 cab w/ Weber's, and my rig stated above.

Now, THAT's loud as the F-word. I use the Visual Sound Route 66 o/d and the Smart People Factory Ego Booster.
