It's REAL easy.
You kick the BALL with your FOOT. It's called FOOTBALL.
Unlike the American Football game, in which the ball is mostly NOT kicked with the FOOT, but held in the hands.
What you have over there is AMERICAN FOOTBALL, and what a splendid game it is.
What we have is FOOTBALL.

Ok, football......
NFL football is a tiny island of intense sportsmanship surrounded by a sea of obsessive analysis, hype, frustrating TV-commercial interruptions, and low-class antics on the part of the athletes.
NCAA football is full of spirit, with some steriods, illegal compensation and goofball scholarship funding to boot. But I'll take it anyday over NFL.
Football aka soccer is an ok sport in my opinion........but the fans in Europe and elsewhere indulge in a level of destructive "behaviour" not known in the United States, except perhaps in Philadelphia.
Gimme rubgy any day......no padding, no hype, no time-outs, no pussies........

The fans in europe and elsewhere.
