This thread is inspired by the thread about solo piano.
I can't believe Philip Glass hasn't been done already.
I swear his
Solo Piano CD never leaves my car.
I think he's incredible.

There was a snippet about Moondog on the radio the other night - I never knew he'd lived with Philip Glass for a while (PG even admitted borrowing the odd idea or two).
Not crap but can I lazily say I prefer Steve Reich?

I think it would go:
Reich
Riley
Glass
However I think Glassworks is awesome, as is his piano stuff. Not to start the "electronic" debate in this thread but someone was playing some Psychadelic Trance in their car recently and I thought "its just like philip glass with a steady kickdrum, but far less interesting"
Not Crap, but not the best.

Positively NOT CRAP! But you really do know you're listening to a Philip Glass piece. Very few surprises.
I wonder if he still fixes pipes.

I don't like either Glass or Reich as much as a I like Riley.
Actually I don't like Philip Glass much at all, but I don't want to vote crap.

I think Riley is a lot more playful than the other two. Music for 18 musicians I find alot more engaging than all the other's work.
who would be up for doing a EA version of "In C" by the way?

His score for Mishima is par for the course
