I like quiet bands, and that thread has been really insightful.

But I'm also fond of the "loud" type of band. How about some recommendations of some new or little heard face-melters.

The Birthday Suits. A MN band that arose from a band called Sweet JAP. I have been loving a song titled "Twin Cities Bridge is Falling Down." You can find it on their MySpace page. I am not affiliated with this band in any manner other than thinking that their music is fantastic.
