I am taking it because I went to the dentist today. She performed a deep cleaning. The dentist injects you with novocain to make you (un)comfortably numb, and if you don't get TMJ from keeping your jaw propped open for two hours, you'll get tinnitus from the constant whirring of the drill. So salut to vicodin! You are my reward for enduring the dentist.

And she does what? I've only heard of this little fella in the context of a rock and roll song about feeling good in the summer.

Vicodin is wonderful, especially after having a vasectomy. Led to one of the finest weekends in recent memory.

NOT CRAP

What did this weekend involve then?

Wait a second while I loosen my pants and reach for my poppers...

Of the drugs I have tried, nothing beats it. When I was in highschool I would search my friend's house with him trying to get ahold of his mother's bottle of lortab that she often hid in her room, along with her crack pipe. We would each have immediate euphoria upon finding the bottle and take a handful

It's strange...Vicodin does nothing for me. I have been prescribed it a few times over the last two years and it does not do anything for me. Regular anti-inflammatories and Tylenol 3 (w/ codeine) are much more effective for me. Actually Valium didn't do anything for me either. I am not a drug user in general so you would think these things would send me flying high in the friendly skies but sadly no.

This is exactly the case for me. I was excited to have it prescribed to me & see what all the fuss was about. Not only did not take the pain away or make me high, but i barfed after the 2nd dose. Tylenol 3 & ultracet make me higher than a kite and take away whatever pain i'm feeling.

The 5/500 mixture is garbage. I'm convinced that the 10/500 mix is much better. You can always upgrade either dose with a beer, however.

Crap, though.

unlike tylenol 3 and anti-inflamatories such as motrin, vicodin (just like all other opiates, synthetic or not) does not "kill" pain, it simply puts you in a state of mind where you don't care about it. as you can imagine, this is a great state of mind to be in. it's a subtle effect though. unlike the majority of drugs that are taken recreationally most people could be given vicodin and not know it. they'd probably just be more relaxed, comfortable, and carefree. it kind of gives you an inner warmth and coziness. this drug is highly addictive though and it's bad for not only your liver, but your heart and digestive track too. and drinking alcohol with it is fucking awful for you. so watch out.
