He is a great player, and it is exciting to watch him play football. And by all accounts, he is an incredibly smart and dedicated player who outworks and outstudies everyone on his team, including the coaching staff.

But Chad Johnson's touchdown celebrations are stupid, as are almost all touchdown celebrations. Please, no more talk of "touchdown celebrations", except the beautiful and perfect "Lambeau Leap".

Chad Johnson, you are not as entertaining as Clinton Portis.

i don't live in his market, so i almost never get to see bengals games--by the way, does anyone in the nyc area think that fox/cbs here puts on some of the worst games? i'm sick and tired of them being contractually obligated to show the jets suck against mediocre teams every week, and fox shows horrible nfc matchups--but from what i've seen on highlights and shows and whatnot, he looks to be the real deal.

i don't mind his schtick either. it's cooler than TO and less disruptive.

I live in Cincinnati and Chad is massively popular. He makes the week leading up to a game a lot of fun and every interview by him cracks me up. He isn't very physical but he makes some eye opening catches and some incredible attempts at catches. The real superstar of the team,
though, is the QB Palmer. But I love his "schtick"; sending pepto bismol to Browns DB's, learning the riverdance, using the endzone marker as a golf club, having a chart of whether or not somebody covered him this year. And he has the confidence to predict beating an undefeated team (KC two years ago) and winning super bowls (this year).

Yeah, having to watch the Jets in NYC reminds me of living in New Orleans and the 'other game' was always the Texans. Of course nowadays the people there just get to watch the Saints suck. Even in New York I got to watch them suck 3 times this year.

You forgot Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Donald Driver and Steve Smith, all of whom were Pro Bowl wide receivers in 2007 -- unlike your named examples, save the excellent Chad Johnson.
