2Well, your examples are tolerable.
The wife LOVES Galaxy 500!!
Seriously, have any of you been subjected to this shit?
THIS is shoe gazer music. Looking into someone's eyes whilst playing OR listening to this grahdoo is too embarrassing. Hence, we must only look at each other's shoes.
Shoegazer's better be wearin' some nice shoes, though! That should be rule #1.

3let's not forget the modern takes on the genre, autolux and serena maneesh. all told, certainly not crap.
i think MBV would be one of the only reunion tours i'd pay to see.

Did they do that song, I think it was called "All In The Mind"?
That was an awesome song. I would like to find it again someday, now that I think of it. I gotta go look.

8Those bands had a penchant for using tremolo effects set to "hellicopter chopping your head off" and that can only be a good thing.
I saw most of those bands live and they were either great or tedious - not much middle ground - but I really liked the records. It was (basically) rock music, and it was played with guitars.
That was a good space to be in considering how most 80's music sounded.
