Don't know of any of you knew him, but a good friend of mine was killed late friday night walking out of the Empty Bottle here in Chicago. A gang car chase came around the corner and he shoved the woman he was with out of the way to save her life. I guess they caught the guys that did it and both cars were filled with guns and other things... I was mixing with the all the other band members just a few hours before... Such a happy guy... I couldn't wait to go on another tour with him...

All of these things we worry about don't mean a god damn thing...

chris used to sit 2 feet from where i'm typing this right now facing me - we were coworkers. jeremy and i were just a small couple of the lives chris touched. he is such an amazing, talented person - i can't properly express how fantastic of a person he was.

i just saw a live report on chris from channel 7 today at 11:30am... there was a reporter at the corner of division and western and they told the whole story... his roommates were interviewed, they showed lots of pictures of him and the band...

His funeral will be in Batavia February 20th (this friday)... i don't know any more details at this time...
