These are more handsome than Les Pauls:

These are better fun than Jaguars:

These are surely a wise investment:

they may be good investmests but there is no shitting way in hell that those things look better than jaguars.

as a side nte, strats dont cost fuck all off ebay now and i suppose its partly because everyone (well indie kids) want teles. get in quick before arctic monkeys make them popular again.

I almost bought one once, but somehow Yamaha managed to make a tremolo which was shitter than the original - that must have been difficult.

The Yamaha SGs are really good. Sound great.

I find those Westones a bit 80's, but I don't suppose that's a problem. Also, they were always kicking around pawn shops which was a bit off-putting.

As an owner of a Tele Deluxe from 1973 (and a reissue arriving this week) and a Travis Bean there's a lot of joy to be had from unpopular guitars becoming valuable!

I bought one in Germany a couple of years ago for €180! I think they probably ended up giving them away...

Yeah. but they are starting to gain value now and they're really very nice to play. I fancied buying one on a whim the other week and couldn't believe the prices...

Off topic a bit: This is a guitar I used to have....sold it on Ebay last year. I can totally understand why these never caught on.

Ladies and Gentleman, I give you....The Gibson Corvus:

Crazy 70s Guild. Great pickups (same as in some Velenos), beautiful build, looks rad. Can't get better. As used by the mighty Unit Ama (above).

I had one of these for a while; weighed as much as a small pony.

Is that a G&L or Musicman?

70's I assume - they used bloody heavy ash back then.
