I don't think I've played my Mule stuff for years. Thank you for the reminder, Tom!

I also dig P.W. Long's solo work. We didn't see you on Sunday is a great album.

NC, WF: I haven't heard any of this in a long time. I just remember liking it a lot.

The first Mule record is gold, pure gold. The cover of 'To love somebody' is ultra pure gold.
The records after are just kinda allright. The solo records get more and more boring as time goes on. The next will just be mumbling and snoring.

Mule is soooooooooo NOT CRAP! One of my favorite memories of being a teenager was seeing Mule at the National Guard Armory while the rest of my classmates were at prom. I also got a chance to see P.W acoustic doing all Mule covers. I had a tape of this (oh geez!) but it was subsequently stolen from me.

The "To Love Somebody" cover is pure gold.

NOT CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I saw Mule.

I will trade my extra copy of the Only Ones S/T, the Scorps' World Wide Live double LP, and a pack of lime Morinaga Hi-Chews for the first Mule LP.

Anyone?

Can someone give me a PW Long update? New record? Home address? Inseam?

I was at that show and their greatness didn't hit me at the time. I just thought they were okay. It actually took me several years before really getting into them. That's not to say they weren't great at that show, I was just young, stupid, and most likely more interested in smoking dope than taking in the music.

The solo P.W. records are especially amazing, the first one in particular. I think that album is almost 10 years old at this point and I still listen to it constantly.
