..making wry observations when you should be recording/writing/spending quality time with your dog?

sniff, sniff... i can't spend time with my dog because i don't have one yet. but after watching westminster with my girlfriend, i came to the conclusion that i need to win the lottery and buy a house that supports one of these : http://wintermute.sr.unh.edu/ridgeback/ ... ing1-s.jpg

but yeah, i'd spend a lot more time on this (and another) forum if i wasn't working fucking 60+ hours this week.

i need the money to get the dog to necessitate the leaving of the internet to care for the dog. see?

This is the ONLY forum in which I read and post on a regular basis. I still find it not only interseting, educational, and insightful in areas of my interests, but also a source of great arguments that I enjoy jumping into and spewing my two cents toward.

A nice balance of smarties and ignoramuses.

I would like to think I bridge the gap...

this is the only forum i've ever involved myself in. if it didn't appear around the time i had to work, largely by myself, overnight for 6 months straight, i might not have relied on it so much to stay awake. i spent hours looking up gear @ electrical and pricing it on ebay. productive. now i just check it here and there when work (days, finally) is slow(er) and marvel at the opinions of some people i know and/or respect on all kinds of things, and throw in my ign'ant 2 cents when i can.

i have two dogs and one girlfriend, i mean one girlfriend and two dogs (priorities, there there....), all three of which get enough of my time, more or less. usually more than less, whether they like it or not. usually not.

i sound like i'm trying to justify drinking.

i'm not a drunk, fuck you. just gimme that mouthwash. mmmmm, minty.

now back to work.

I have to the indifference of everyone, been cut off by the locally dreaded "St. Bernard" internet security system that was installed in my place of employment recently. No longer can I break the work day's monotony with clever rank banter or reading ingenius (as well as nonsensical) discussions about music. It is, for lack of a better term, a real drag.

On the plus side, the bosses just think I'm stepping it up a notch. Maybe I'll come out over top of the poverty line next year!!

work is where i would spend most of my time on the forum

i have one of those lamp-shape imacs and an superfast ethernet connection in my office, which is seperated from my boss/co-workers by 4 floors... so in short, when there is nothing to do at work, i can just electronically hang out.

however, this is the super busy season so I don't get to frequent the board too often

summertime is forum time
